See behaviour, think communication

Children and young people’s behaviour is an important form of communication. It is a sign that they may not know or be able to tell you what they need. In this training, we will share advice for how to respond to behaviour ‘in the moment.’ Participants will be supported to not only identify what behaviour they see but, more importantly, figure out why the behaviour is happening. It is only when we understand the reasons for behaviour that we can implement successful supports.
